How to get there: Hiking trail from Estana, through a marked trail in the Cadí-Moixeró Nature Reserve. It’s a 1.5 km circular trail from the village, which runs within the boundaries of Pla de l’Àliga, where you’ll find the four viewpoints.

The viewpoint has a railing and a panoramic photo of the view, listing the place names of the most iconic landmarks.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility: It’s not accessible, as the viewpoint can only be reached on foot through mountain terrain.

What to see:

From the Pla de l’Àliga Viewpoint (SE) amidst Scots pine trees, you’ll find this viewpoint that looks out over the village of Estana, with an unparalleled perspective of the Serra del Cadí mountain range. You can take in the summit of Comabona to the right, all the way to Vulturó—the tallest summit of the mountain range—to your right, including Pas dels Gosolans, Canals de l’Ordiguer and Canal del Cristall to Prat del Cadí, and Canal Baridana to the far right.

The valley below you is Bastanist Valley, with a hodgepodge of meadows interspersed with mainly coniferous forests, and boasting a shrine at the bottom of the valley.
