Checklist

List of the Birds of Cerdanya

The bird list of Cerdanya consists of 220 species.

It has been compiled using data extracted from the online databases Ornitho, eBird, and GBIF. The scientific names and the Catalan names follow those proposed by Franch, M., Gil-Velasco, M., Illa, M., Burgas, A., Dalmau, G., Espluga, B., Fuentes, M.A., Larruy, X., López-Carrasco, J., and Ollé, À. (2024). List of the Birds of Catalonia. 2024 Edition. Avifaunistic Committee of Catalonia (CAC), Catalan Institute of Ornithology (ICO).

For each species, the scientific name (genus and species), the official name in Catalan, English, Spanish, and French, its abundance, and its phenology (the condition in which it is most commonly detected) are provided. The species are grouped by families with their Latin names.
