Cerdanya has a significant wealth of bird species thanks to its diversity of natural environments. In this map we propose 15 places in the region to enjoy observing and listening to passerines, raptors and all kinds of birds that fill our sky. We highlight each place with a characteristic species and thanks to a number, we place it on the map and get an explanation. Remember that to observe birds you must have, above all, an attitude of respect for the environment and private property. Go bird watching early in the morning or in the evening. Try to be quiet. If you go by vehicle, drive slowly along forest tracks. The essential equipment to enjoy birds is binoculars, an identification guide and… a lot of patience.
