Aeroclub Cerdanya

"Aeroclub Cerdanya" offers unpowered flights. It is the best place in Europe for the paractice of this sport thanks to ideal weather conditions and an breathtaking landscape. To get into the air, the sailplane is towed behind a powered aircraft using a rope and once they reach a certain height, the rope is released. The sailplane takes advantage of occurring currents of rising air in the atmosphere to fly. Whoever tries this type of flight, repeats, because there is no better way to see the Cadí mountain range and the Pyrenees than from inside a sailplane. Introductory flying courses and glider pilot courses are also offered.
